Amoris Secret security
This page details Amoris Secret’s protection promises: what is encrypted, what our servers see (or don’t), how to revoke a photo, and what to do if something goes wrong.
Encryption at rest and in transit
Before sending, every photo and every message is locked on your phone. Transfer uses a secure connection (HTTPS / TLS). Our servers only relay already-protected content: the Amoris team cannot view your photos or messages in clear.
What servers store
Servers relay protected photos and text messages between two linked partners. They do not keep a gallery Amoris can browse. Technical metadata needed to run the app (anonymous pairing IDs, delivery acks, revoke state) may be processed for the service, not to display or analyze content. Hosted in France (OVH).
Retention
On our servers, encrypted photo and message payloads and related metadata are kept for 24 hours maximum, then purged automatically, or immediately when a photo is revoked. A pairing invite expires after 30 minutes. Notification tokens are kept up to 90 days. Anonymous usage statistics are kept for 30 days. After revoke, recipient access to the photo is invalidated.
Hold to view, release to hide
On the recipient’s phone, the photo is shown only while a finger stays pressed. Releasing hides the content immediately. This reduces the risk of a photo staying permanently visible on the device, without replacing judgment and trust between partners.
Screenshots
No app can guarantee 100% technical impossibility of a screenshot on every Android device. Amoris Secret is designed to discourage prolonged display and to let you revoke access. Always choose a trusted partner; revoke and reporting remain your safety nets.
Revoke and deletion
You can revoke a photo anytime in the app. After revoke, your partner is notified and cannot open it. Text messages have no per-message revoke: they disappear when you delete the conversation. Recipient-side deletion aims to make the content unusable in the app; it cannot erase a copy already captured outside the app.
Lost or stolen phone
Protect your phone with a system lock (code, biometrics). If you lose the device, immediately revoke still-accessible photos from another linked phone, or contact us for pairing assistance: contact@amoris-game.fr.
Technical team access
The team does not access clear photo content for ordinary operations. Technical access to infrastructure (logs, uptime, security) may exist without allowing anyone to “view” your images. In a security incident likely to result in a high risk to your rights, affected people will be informed where the law requires it.
Reporting non-consensual use
If you believe a photo was shared or used without your consent, contact us without delay: contact@amoris-game.fr (recommended subject: “Amoris Secret report”). Describe the situation; we will outline possible actions on our side. In an emergency or crime, also contact competent authorities.
